Photographing the Cemeteries of Weld County, Colorado

Centennial State Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, has spent the last several years photographing headstones throughout Weld County, Colorado, in hopes of eventually make them available on-line to researchers.  Many genealogists and historians travel thousands of miles to find engravings on headstones to help in their research.  As retirement years lend themselves better to these pursuits, it follows that many of these researchers and historians are older in years.  Traveling to accomplish this can be a hardship.
